My name is Raymond Chua, an ex-lecturer in Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP). I am a photography enthusiast and started my photography journey since the film era. Beside nature, streets, portrait, landscape, action, nightscape photography, I have a very strong passion for Milkyway photography. I learnt the arts through youtubes and through a lot of trial and error by going to many places with dark sky such as New Zealand, China, Indonesia. West Malaysia and Sabah. During Covid, I also tried my hand on shooting milkyway in Singapore as travelling was not allowed and had some success. I had also organized and led many groups of photographers to Bintan Island and Mersing for milkyway photography. I also started my own Telegram group called "The SG Milkyway Hunters" as a platform to share.
